NIMJN at the Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
NIMJN Newsletter – November 2025
We don’t just report the news; we drive the global conversation. This November, NIMJN took center stage at the Global Investigative Journalism Conference (GIJC25), the world’s largest gathering of investigative reporters, held over five days in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (November 20-24, 2025).
Our Founder and Chief Editor, Rajneesh Bhandari, served as a key panelist on the session “Reporting on Conflict and Collaboration in a Disinformed World.” The discussion was sharp and focused, emphasizing the urgent need for stronger collaboration in our crowded information space. Rajneesh shared insights from NIMJN’s key cross-border projects. The panel unveiled a major new effort: the launch of the South Asia Journalism Collective (SAJCollective), specifically designed to power collaborative investigations across the region.
The truth needs a vehicle, and this initiative strengthens our strategic focus on smart distribution and maximizing impact. Stay tuned for more updates on the SAJCollective!
