Reading through these stories, I keep noticing a pattern across so many of them: when systems fail this deeply, the burden of response often shifts elsewhere. While this piece rightly centers investigative journalism and accountability, it also made me think about how, in a country like Nepal, responsibility can’t stop at exposure alone. People doing their own due diligence, asking questions, and refusing to look away matters just as much in breaking these cycles, which have been normalized and in some aspects accepted as inevitable.
